It has been said: “One thing that we have learned from history, is that we don’t always learn from history”. The article you’re about to read was born out of my personal recollection of events surrounding a construction accident involving my Dad when he was a young man. It has served to remind me of how in a moments time, lives can be changed. Despite this harrowing bit of family history, it is hoped that this true-life experience can strengthen each readers’ resolve to actively change the course of history by learning from the past and actively implementing and reinforcing your company safety policies.
